Is the game free?

Yes. PlayHounds is a non-commercial community server; downloading and playing are free.

What PC do I need?

Windows 10 or 11, 4 GB RAM and a DirectX 9 graphics card. The game takes about 15 GB.

Can I play with my old account?

Accounts made in the server's first days were moved to the website. Sign in with your username and password, add and verify an e-mail address, then play with the launcher.

The verification e-mail did not arrive.

Check your spam / junk folder. You can send it again from My Account (once a minute).

Windows says it protected my PC.

The installer is not digitally signed yet. Click "More info" → "Run anyway". Only download it from playhounds.com.

How do I keep my account safe?

Use a long password you do not use anywhere else and turn on two-step verification (2FA) in My Account. Staff never ask for your password.

I found a bug / want to report a player.
